Those in my last class will know why, but I thought I would post my much coveted Italian Hot Chocolate recipe here. Chocolate is another one of my many passions. This chocolate once saved me, maybe not from a physical threat, but definitely from an emotional one.

Recipe:
per 3/4 cup cold milk serving.

Mix:
2 TBS Hershey’s’ Dark Cocoa
2 TBS raw sugar, or brown sugar
1 TBS corn starch
1 tsp pwd vanilla creamer
1 pinch salt

Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients until well blended. Mix well into COLD milk. Then heat over the stove while stirring until hot and thick. Let cool a little and then enjoy with a spoon.

P.S. This can be done in the microwave as long as the milk is heated in 30 second bursts with stirring in between. Also it tends to rise and overflow the mug so it must be watched carefully. 🙂
