The constitutional carry status in Arkansas is new enough that different authorities in Arkansas’ various counties often interpret citizens’ right differently. CHCL laws make it simpler to carry throughout the state.
This map shows which states accept an Arkansas CHCL.
Green is full reciprocity. Yellow is reciprocity with some conditions. Red states do not recognize the Arkansas license.
Reciprocity
One of the most beneficial aspects of a CHCL License.
There are currently only 13 states out of 50 that do not allow AR CHCL to carry in their state. So, with a license you can travel just about anywhere feeling secure. Always check the laws in whichever state you plan to visit before you travel.
Travel safely wherever you go!
